Deep sleep brainwaves may help predict glucose levels

Researchers have found that sleep spindles and slow waves – brain waves associated with deep sleep – can predict an increase in insulin and lower blood glucose levels, meaning that sleep quality can improve outcomes for patients with diabetes. The study was published in Cell Reports Medicine.
