Glaucoma may be predicted earlier in patients with early onset diabetes or hypertension

American researchers have suggested that patients with an early diagnosis of type 2 diabetes or hypertension could be at greater risk of early onset glaucoma. The study, published in Clinical Opthalmology, suggests that these patients may benefit from earlier screening for glaucoma.
