Join our new Equality, Diversity & Inclusion working group to help ensure that Society opportunities are readily accessible for all members, whatever their geographical location, personal background or work setting.
Our 2020 Governance Review highlighted equality, diversity and inclusion as an important area of focus where we could do more. The new Equality, Diversity & Inclusion working group, led by Dr Channa Jayasena, is being established to look at all aspects of the Society, including membership, governance and prizes/awards. This group will make recommendations to Council in early 2023.
You can apply to join the working group by 9am on Friday 24 June. We particularly want to encourage applications from members in under-represented demographic groups, international graduates, and / or hospitals / universities without strong existing representation on our committees.
