Professor Gary Hammer will be joining our plenary lecturers at SfE BES 2021 and you are invited to host him during the week prior to the conference.
He will be touring up to five endocrine centres in the UK during the week commencing Monday 1 November. If you or colleagues would like to be considered to host a visit, please email us at awards@endocrinology.org by Friday 2 July 2021.
The programme for the day visit is entirely up to you and may, if travel schedule allows, involve an evening dinner. All costs for the visit except travel and accommodation are borne by the host institution.
About Professor Gary Hammer
He is a Professor in the Departments of Internal Medicine (Metabolism, Endocrinology & Diabetes), Cell & Developmental Biology, and Molecular & Integrative Physiology at the University of Michigan. His research focuses on elucidating the mechanisms by which growth factor signalling and transcriptional programs initiate adrenal-specific growth and differentiation with an emphasis on dysregulated adrenocortical stem cells in development and cancer.
