Kate joined the ABPCO board in December as a PCO member and will start her role as joint-chair at the end of June. Working alongside Jo Powel (Macmillan Cancer Support), the joint ABPCO chairs have a wealth of experience from both in-house and agency PCOs. Kate has over 18 years’ experience working in the events industry, with a specialist interest in association conferences.
Speaking about her appointment, Kate said:
I was delighted to join the ABPCO Board at the end of 2017, and am very much looking forward to taking up the co-chair position in June. ABPCO's purpose is to be ‘proud to enable human enrichment through face to face gatherings’, and it really is a very engaged community that truly lives their values of excellence, learning and belonging.
Bioscientifica wishes Kate all the best in her joint-chair role.
