Likelihood of mortality by cancer or heart disease increased by irregular sleep

Scientists have found that people aged 40-70 with irregular sleep schedules increase their likelihood of developing cardiovascular disease or cancer in the following 7 years by 73% and 33% respectively. The study was posted on Live Science, as part of an interview with one of its co-authors.
