Mortality by premature cardiovascular disease linked to air pollution

According to a study presented in the Journal of the American Heart Association, exposure to particulate matter (pm) pollution is associated with cardiovascular disease including stroke and ischemic heart disease, with a 43% increase in deaths among men from pm pollution within 20 years.
