The NIHR HealthTech Research Centre (HRC) is looking for clinicians, academics and industry to attend a workshop on 13 December in Sheffield, UK, to explore technological healthcare solutions to unmet clinical needs for young people transitioning from paediatric to adult services.
The workshop will focus on 3 themes:
The successful applicants will work together in a pioneering cross-disciplinary structure alongside patients, families, clinicians, engineers, computer scientists and other experts to develop new digital platforms and technologies that can address unmet needs in child health.
Support with AI, (based at GOSH), mental health (based at Cambridge University) and PPIE (based within the HRC) will be available if these would benefit the research project. Projects can take the form of an NHS and industry led research project, or can lead to funded PhD opportunities.
