Stress hormone associated with cardiovascular disease risk

According to a study presented at the European Congress on Obesity, long-term increased levels of cortisone levels – taken from patients’ scalps – is associated with a higher likelihood of developing cardiovascular disease and obesity. The findings only pertain to adults aged 57 years and under.
