Study suggests endocrine-disrupting chemicals can be absorbed through skin

According to a study published in Environment International, perfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) including makeup and school uniforms, are absorbed at levels ranging from 13% - 60% through skin. The study used a lab-grown tissue in their study, which reacts in the same way as human skin.
