Study suggests social isolation increases risk of high glycemic levels

According to a study published in the BMJ Open Diabetes Research & Care, cohabitation can lead to lower blood sugar levels and reduce the likelihood of developing prediabetes. The researchers call for increased support to isolated elderly people or those who have lost a marital or cohabitating relationship.
