We recently worked with Health Awareness on the 2019 Understanding Diabetes campaign. In celebration of World Diabetes Day, the campaign will raise awareness of the different types of diabetes that affect populations globally. It will focus on early diagnosis and management of type 1 and type 2 diabetes, whilst also focussing on prevention of type 2 through maintaining a healthy lifestyle. It will further look at the impact of COVID-19 on access to care and support within diabetes.
A printed publication was enclosed within every copy of the Guardian newspaper and the content is available online. The campaign featured exclusive content from key thought leaders and industry voices about education for nurses in diabetes care.
