Negative cardiovascular outcomes for women with hypertensive disorders in pregnancy

Scientists have found an association between hypertensive disorders of pregnancy and increased risk of cardiovascular disease in the future by up to 25%. The study, published in JAMA Network Open Cardiology, recommends HDPs to be considered risk factors for CVD.
