Fertility and neonatal outcomes not associated with primary hyperparathyroidism

A study presented in the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology & Metabolism suggests that women with primary hyperparathyroidism are no more likely to struggle conceiving, or have worse neonatal outcomes than those without. The study also found that parathyroidectomy’s are safe for women before and during the second trimester of pregnancy.
