Obesity increases risk of morbidity in ovarian cancer cases

A study published in Journal of Experimental & Clinical Cancer Research has found that in cases of ovarian cancer, obesity poses an increased risk of morbidity as the macrophages presenting are more advanced. Tissues surrounding the tumours are also more fibrous and less receptive to treatment.
