Scientists suggest 51% of the population will be obese by 2035

According to the World Obesity Atlas 2023 report, the rate of people with clinical obesity is set to increase from 1 in 8 to 1 in 4 within 12 years, with rates rising faster among adolescents and children. The report concludes that mass intervention is necessary to avoid this epidemic.
